  4.     The U.S. Government should take Strobe Talbott's advice and
  5. stop the Khmer Rouge from returning to power in Kampuchea (WORLD,
  6. Feb. 6). The atrocities they committed against that country's
  7. innocent people are appalling. From personal experience, I have no
  8. doubt that more people will suffer the same fate if the supporters
  9. of ultra-Maoist Pol Pot are allowed to take over the country again.
  10. Ironically, although the Vietnamese were singled out as the bad
  11. guys in this chaos, they did save countless lives -- my own and my
  12. family's included.
